Advertising on POWER Family lets sellers boost a listing into sponsored slots. These rules keep ads honest for buyers and fair between advertisers.
1. Plans and boosts
- Advertising is sold as plans for a fixed period (normally 30 days). Each plan includes a number of boosts.
- A boost promotes one live listing for a fixed number of days with an impression budget.
- Each plan limits how many boosts can run at the same time. Each listing can run only one boost at a time.
- Unused boosts expire at the end of the plan period.
- VIP members receive a free pack of boosts every 30 days, as included in their VIP plan, without buying a plan.
- The current plans, prices and what each includes are shown on the Advertising page before you request one.
2. Paying for a plan
- Plans are paid by transfer from an Egyptian mobile wallet or InstaPay to the account shown on the payment page. No card details are ever entered on POWER Family.
- Each payment has its own reference and a fixed amount, and must be reported within 24 hours or it expires.
- You send the transaction ID, the number you paid from and a screenshot of the receipt. A transaction ID or receipt screenshot can be used only once on the site.
- The plan starts when a team member confirms the money arrived. If the payment cannot be confirmed you are told why, and the request is closed.
3. Where sponsored listings appear
- Only in the Recommended view of the marketplace, never in Newest or Price sorting.
- Never as the first two cards, and at most one sponsored card in every six.
- At most one sponsored card per seller on a page.
- Every sponsored card carries a visible "Sponsored" label.
4. Fair delivery
- Boosts are paced over their whole period: campaigns that are behind schedule are shown first, so budgets are spread fairly and no advertiser can crowd out others.
- Higher plans receive a larger share of sponsored slots (×2 or ×3), never a better organic position.
- An impression is counted at most once per member every 6 hours; a click at most once per member per day. Your own views are never counted.
5. Quality floor
- Only live, approved listings can be boosted.
- Boosts pause automatically if the listing stops being live, the seller is suspended, or an approved Fraud Registry entry is linked to the seller.
- The team may remove any boost that breaks the marketplace rules. Payments for boosts removed for rule violations are not refunded.
6. Stopping a boost
- You can stop a boost at any time, and restart a stopped boost for the time and impressions it has left.
- If you stop it within 24 hours and less than 10% of its impressions were delivered, the boost credit is returned to your plan.
7. Reporting
Your Advertising page shows impressions, clicks and click-through rate for every boost.
